Sundae Denver - Here's the Scoop
Share
We’re thrilled to officially announce our flagship store is opening soon in the heart of downtown Denver, and it’s unlike anything we’ve done before. Located at the corner of Glenarm Place and 16th Street, Sundae-Denver will offer an immersive ice cream experience that appeals to everyone!
“Northland is excited to welcome Sundae to downtown Denver at 1600 Glenarm. We are especially proud that Sundae chose our property for its first Denver store and believe that their commitment to bringing a sense of connection and warmth to where they operate will make them an engaged member of this community. Sundae’s flagship location, housing both a full-scale production kitchen and a retail scoop shop, couldn’t be coming at a better time, alongside the highly anticipated re-opening of the revitalized 16th Street Mall.” — Rita Tyszka, VP Commercial, Northland
A Waffle Cone Theater – 16th Streetside:
We take our waffle cones seriously and want to show them off to the world. At this location, guests strolling along 16th Street will be able to watch fresh waffle cones being made through large street-facing viewing windows. It smells as good as it sounds and tastes even better.
Double the Ice Cream, Double the Fun:
This location will have two service lines to share joy at twice the speed! Our two ice cream display cases will be packed with a rotating menu of fresh, handcrafted ice cream made in-house. And two frozen slab stations will be stocked with our full array of delicious toppings, ready for mixing in to create your own special masterpiece. Expect bold flavors, unique pairings, and Sundae classics you know and love.
An Open View Ice Cream Kitchen – Watch the Magic Happen:
Call us crazy, but we love showing off our ice cream making process to our guests. In this location, our ice cream production kitchen takes center stage in the middle of the store for all to see. Through the expansive windows, guests can see the whole process, from mixing to churning to freezing to swirling to packing of pints.
Sundae School - Hands on Experiences:
Time to go back to school…ice cream school that is. We're building a dedicated classroom for guests to explore the science of ice cream and to create their very own ice cream flavor to take home (or eat right away!). These classes, offered to the public and available for private bookings, will be the perfect date night, family activity, or team building outing.
Community Centered Service:
From toddlers to grandparents, ranchers to executives, everyone finds joy at Sundae. We focus on consistent customer experiences and take pride in spreading unfiltered joy within our communities. We are excited to be a part of 16th Street’s revival by lighting up the corner of Glenarm & 16th Street with our beautiful store design, insanely delicious products, and warm, welcoming service.
Fresh, Fun Career Opportunities:
We are thrilled to recruit our largest crew yet of Sundae team members for this location. We foster a positive, collaborative environment and invest in our team by offering competitive compensation and industry-leading benefits. We will be offering a host of career opportunities for this location in the next few months and would love to meet you if you are passionate about customer service, love ice cream and are just looking for a fun, fast paced job in the heart of Denver.
None of this would be possible without our incredible partners. We’re deeply grateful to our landlord Northland for such a phenomenal location for our flagship store, to our talented design team led by F&M Architects, and to the City of Denver and the Downtown Denver Partnership for their commitment to making 16th Street vibrant again. The support from our partners has been outstanding, and we are delighted to start this new chapter of Sundae with such solid partnerships.
“F&M has been working with the Sundae team since their first new store development in Glenwood Springs back in 2019 and we are super excited to see them now bringing their products and flavors to the heart of downtown Denver. 16th Street is an iconic Denver amenity, and Sundae is an iconic brand, both have a bright future. The ice cream is insanely delicious; personally, I am hooked on Salted Cookies and Cream. It’s been incredible to collaborate with Sundae and to help visualize their flagship Denver location. I’ve enjoyed watching the concept evolve from each mountain town to the next, refining the customer experience each time. Now we are delighted to see this Colorado-based brand in front of a much larger audience. Welcome to Denver, Sundae!” — Mike Bucchin, AIA, Principal Architect, F&M Architects LLC
