A Scoop of History, A Scoop on Us - Celebrate National Ice Cream Day!
Share
Did you know that National Ice Cream Day falls on the third Sunday of July every year? That makes July 20th the sweetest day of the summer this year, and it also happens to be our favorite holiday. Why? Well, the name kind of gives it away… we’re Sundae Ice Cream, after all!
But this isn’t just a cute coincidence. National Ice Cream Day has a pretty cool backstory. In 1984, President Ronald Reagan officially declared the day a national holiday to recognize just how much Americans love ice cream. 90% of the country, in fact! His goal? To celebrate not only the frozen treat itself, but also the communities that gather around it.
At Sundae, we believe a perfectly crafted scoop of ice cream can create joy, connection, and unforgettable moments. To help foster these moments, we are handing out free ice cream to all our loyalty app users on National Ice Cream Day!
Stop by any scoop shop on Sunday, July 20th and scan your Sundae App to get a FREE scoop of ice cream!
Don't have the app? It is not too late to download it now!
